For coats and blazers I usually go one size up if I want to layer sweaters under them. That is why I sometimes leave comments myself when I test a new shop or product. I recently tried a few different online shops and wanted to share my experience. Some pieces look shiny online but feel like plastic when you open the package. I try to balance my budget between basic everyday items and a few special pieces. Everyone has different expectations, but real photos and detailed comments are useful for everyone.

Over the last months I noticed that some of my favorite items are not the most expensive ones. This is why I like reading and posting on forums and community websites. Forums, blogs and communities create a kind of collective memory for shoppers. I think sharing honest feedback helps other buyers avoid the same mistakes. A good store usually answers questions quickly and does not hide behind canned messages. At least here we can see more honest opinions and not only polished marketing content. I also think about how easy it is to track a parcel once it ships. It is always difficult to know which website is really trustworthy before you place an order.
