I think what you posted made a lot of sense. But, what about this? suppose you typed a catchier post title? I am not saying your content is not good., but what if you added something that makes people want more? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda plain. You ought to look at Yahoo's home page and see how they create article titles to get viewers to click. You might add a video or a picture or two to get people excited about what you've got to say. Just my opinion, it might bring your posts a little livelier.
