I believe what you published made a ton of sense. But, what about this? what if you wrote a catchier title? I am not suggesting your content isn't good, but suppose you added a post title that grabbed a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda boring. You could glance at Yahoo's front page and watch how they write news titles to get viewers to click. You might try adding a video or a related picture or two to get people excited about what you've written. In my opinion, it might make your posts a little livelier.
