I think what you published made a bunch of sense. However, what about this? what if you were to create a killer post title? I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your website, however suppose you added a post title that grabbed a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda plain. You might peek at Yahoo's home page and note how they write post titles to get people interested. You might add a related video or a pic or two to get people interested about everything've written. In my opinion, it might make your posts a little bit more interesting.
