People who share height and weight information make it easier to choose the right size. Of course we all have different taste, but patterns still appear in long discussions. Metal can feel more premium, but acetate can be more comfortable for long wear. For fashion and clothing I pay attention to fabric thickness and stitching details. I try to look for real photos of the insoles and soles, not only the outside of the shoe. Good packaging and a small storage bag are also nice touches for accessories.
If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

That is why I sometimes leave comments myself when I test a new shop or product. In the end there is no perfect shop, but some stores are clearly more consistent. This is why I like reading and posting on forums and community websites. Shipping speed is not everything, but extremely slow delivery is very annoying. Whenever I find something that actually works well, I tend to reorder it later. For example, I compared cotton, polyester and mixed fabrics for similar clothing items.
Hope this helps someone.
